Stroller vs. Car

I am now a complete expert in the features of a baby stroller. Just imagine what useful things were pushed out of my brain to make space for this information. However, I think this was one worth researching since it will be a major hassle to have a crappy stroller since I'm going to have to lug this thing around with me everywhere.

I also found my new favourite store. It is a small boutique store out in Bedford (about 20 min drive), called the "Royal Diaperer". It has med to high end stuff and the staff is amazing (despite the odd name)! This woman (Nicole - my new best friend) honestly spent 2 hours with Ed and I talking about strollers, how we would be using it, what the key features are, and letting us drive them all over the store to test them out. I will never go to WalMart again!!!

The first one I looked at was $1100. No, not a second hand car for me, but for a stroller. We quickly decided that was a bit out of our price range and started looking at a few others. In the end we got the "Peg Perego Aria" with the snap in car seat, in "Hip Hop Orange". Again - it's all about looking cool. Grand total was still a tad over $500 (including the car seat) but it only weighs 10lbs and folds up really small, and has shocks so I can take it off-road through parks and stuff.

Funny, the description really does read like a car...
- All - Wheel Suspension, swivel front wheels, rear wheel brakes
- Sleek Matte - Finished aluminum chassis
- Luxuriously Spacious Seat

So, I can now check that off my list. Only about 8000 things to go. :-)
