Happy Halloween!

Don't think Kennedy liked her costume very well, but I had fun dressing her up and torturing her.

Deep thoughts

Took Kennedy on her first big road trip this weekend. She joined us on our annual 'girls golf weekend'. We went to Digby Pines. Bit chilly but really enjoyed getting out. Ed joined the girls weekend to look after Kennedy. All went well and she even slept through the party in our room until 2am on Friday night. What a trooper!

Progress to date:
- sleeping about 6 hours a night, although often wakes up around 4am looking for her soother.
- getting good strong neck - able to hold her head pretty steady these days
- can roll over onto her side (not all the way over yet).

Think she's right on track for her age, or perhaps a little advanced (good genes :-) Here she is contemplating life... very serious.

Hope everyone had a great holiday. Big step this week, Kennedy is now sleeping in her own room. No more bassinet beside me. Makes it a bit harder when she does wake up because now I have to go all the way down the hall instead of just rolling over to check on her. On the other hand, I don't hear all her movements, groans and farts (yes, maaany farts) through the night, so probably sleep a bit better.

She has started smiling lots these days and we've finally captured on film. She's doing great and really starting to get a great little personality.
