Sangria and Sand = happiness
Kennedy is now 7 months old. I can't believe how fast time flies. She's still a complete angel. Sleeps through the night no problems and is generally a very happy little girl.
We just got back from a trip to visit Grammy in Florida. I think Kennedy was just happy not to have to put on a hat and mittens. She travelled really well - no problems with her ears. It was a long day of travelling but she was a trooper! And we were in the pool almost every day. Loves to swim!
Ed and I also had a really great afternoon/night out in South Beach . We've been pretty good about getting a baby sitter for events like Christmas parties, dinners with friends, etc.. but this was our first trip out just the two of us. We had a great day of cocktails and shopping followed by a nice quiet dinner. I must say it was really great! (FYI - I LOVE Sangria and sushi with my feet in sand).

Ready for Santa
I love this time of year! Here's a picture of the family trip to Chester (the Christmas tree capital of the world - according to their sign). Went for a hike in the woods to chop down our tree (OK it was a tree farm, but it was huge and was just like a hike in the woods).
Only a few days left till Christmas. I'm almost done shopping. Just a few small things left. It helps a lot that I can go to the malls during the day and avoid the shopping madness this time of the year. I find the crowds in the evenings turn me into Scroodge. Especially if I'm trying to push a stroller!

Good but not THAT good...
She's been keeping me pretty busy these days, so I haven't been very good with new posts. All is going great as Kennedy nears her 4-month birthday. I can't believe how fast the time has gone!
She's about 14lbs now and is sleeping from about 7pm - 11pm (when we wake her up to feed her) and then from 11pm - 6am. Probably at least 2-3 nights of the week she wakes up in the middle of the night still and needs a bit of attention, but she's getting really good at finding her thumb and just going back to sleep.
We had our first night out with a baby sitter (other than my mom). Went to see the new James Bond movie. Actually really liked the movie, however after tickets, snacks and babysitter fees it cost us $70. It was not THAT good. Oh well. It was good practice for me to leave her with a sitter and start to feel more comfortable leaving her. We have at least 2 Christmas parties coming up, so we've got the sitter lined up for those and I think I'll do just fine.
